The Chapter 4 of the "Naruto" mini-series "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" kept fans hanging as Sasuke and Sarada finally reunites at the end of the chapter. The reunion scene took an unlikely twist as Sasuke thrust his sword on Sarada, creating predictions that Sasuke will unknowingly fight against his daughter and will drive her away in the process. Sarada's "Sharingan" is already activated, creating the speculations that the little dispute is likely to happen.
Previously on the Chapter 4 of "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring," a fight between Sasuke and Shin Uchiha took place. The two had a confrontation when the latter attacked the former after stalking him through the woods. Shin chickened out and was forced to flee. However, he also pursued Sarada and Chou Chou as the girls try to follow Naruto. Fortunately enough Naruto caught up with the girls before Shin even manage to hurt Chou Chou. To everyone's surprise, even the Seventh Hokage was caught off guard when Shin showed his Mangekyo Sharingan. This type of "Sharingan" is an advanced form of the ability and was thought to have disappeared from the Uchiha's lineage for a long time. The two fought each other and Naruto as expected couldn't be bothered much, using only one of his nine-tailed power.
The conflict was disrupted when a strange creature,the third villain as predicted in earlier reports, told Shin that he cannot defeat the Seventh Hokage. Shin and his comrade disappeared leaving a wondering Naruto, marvelled on why the creature knows the space-time technique (Jikukan Ninjutsu).
Chapter 4 also revealed a reunion between Sarada and her father Sasuke. Sarada went on with Naruto and Chou Chou to meet Sasuke. Sarada had butterflies in her stomach after eating the meal Boruto had bought for Naruto and egged on ahead to a mysterious tower. Surprised to see her father inside, she was taken aback after Sasuke pointed a sword at her and asked if she is "one of that creep's friends." This scene actually angered some fans and has hated Sasuke anew.
Meanwhile, in Chapter 5, fans predict that the father and daughter might have a falling out. According to fan discussions on the Web, Sasuke might drive Sarada away. Sasuke, being busy with the mysteries of the Uchiha clan, may not even remember he has a daughter considering Sarada's birth was considered as an ultimate secret. Fans also envisage that he stays away from the village to protect her wife Sakura and her daughter from being the targets of his pursuers.
Moreover, since Sasuke and Shin just had a fight in the Chapter 4, the former might have only assumed that Sarada is "one of that creep's friends," which refers to Shin. Considering Shin Uchiha has a strong "Sharingan" and Sarada has only recently activated her own, this might be the consequence after all. Likewise, this may not be far-cry from what really is going on since Shin looks like a kid. But the bottom-line is, why doesn't Sasuke recognize his own daughter? Can't he see the very resemblance?
