Ant-Man Spoilers Revealed by LEGO; Who Will Be the Surprise Villain?

By

The tiniest Marvel hero 'Ant-Man' is scheduled to hit the cinemas later this summer - and thanks to its toy tie-in with LEGO, some major spoilers have been revealed. LEGO just released product images of their new 'Ant-Man' playset, called 'Final Battle'.

The playset is presumably pertaining to the final battle between Darren Cross and Scott Lang, the characters of Yellow Jacket and Ant-Man, respectively. The 'Final Battle' from LEGO includes three size-changing figures - Ant-Man, Yellow Jacket and Hank Pym.

What's more, Hank Pym is wearing a darker Ant-Man suit. So, LEGO might just have revealed a crucial twist in the plot. The question is, who will form an alliance in the upcoming final battle? Will Pym join Darren Cross, or will he come to aid Scott Lang?

The movie features Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, a thief hired by Hank Pym to retrieve his 'Ant-Man' technology, which enables a man to both shrink and grow. The invention was initially stolen by Darren Cross, Pym's business partner, for a more sinister plan. In the process, Cross was able to develop the Yellow Jacket suit.

Hank Pym, who will be played by Michael Douglas, is actually the original Ant-Man. In fact, it was revealed that he has shrunk himself so many times in the past that he can't shrink himself again, because there will be some dangerous consequences.

The superhero title was eventually passed on to Scott Lang. In Marvel comics, Pym was introduced as one of the founding members of the Avengers.

The film also stars Corey Stoll as Yellow Jacket, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, aJudy Greer as Maggie, Jordi Molla, and Corey Stroll. Rumor has it that Rudd will reprise his role as 'Ant-Man' among the stellar cast of Marvel's 'Captain America: Civil War'. Ant-Man's premiere is set on July 17.
