Cancelled ‘Constantine’ Season 2 may be picked up by The CW? What other networks could renew the show?

NBC is a "no" for 'Constantine' Season 2. That is final and irrevocable. But the cast and showrunners are not losing hope for the possible renewal to happen in other network. Latest reports told that The CW is eyeing on the series. But there was no confirmation from the network. Yet, 'Constantine' might a home from other network.

Unfortunately, 'Constantine' season 2 won't happen at NBC. It doesn't necessarily mean that all hope for the show is lost, though. Despite 'Constantine' Season 2 cancellation, showrunners Daniel Cerone and David Goyer are still hoping and battling for its renewal.

In their quest to find a new home for the supernatural detective, Cerone has brought forth interested parties such as 'Arrow' lead star Stephen Amell, who expressed his interest in collaborating with Constantine for some crime-fighting action, which sparked rumors that The CW may renew Season 2.

While discussions about these speculations were surfacing around the Internet, it hasn't been confirmed yet and remains just a rumor. The president of the network himself, Mark Pedowitz, stated that the rumors are not true.

How about the Syfy network? Actually, reports stated that Cerone went instead to deal with sister network Syfy to discuss the possibility of having the TV series homed to them. But, Syfy denied that it was dealing with Cerone regarding 'Constantine.'

Will Fox renew the series? Fox has seen considerable success with 'Gotham'. The network is seen to be confident about less traditional episode orders, and they have also focused increasingly on cable style 'event series'. So, 'Constantine' might better be a show with a 10-13 episode order.

If not them, why not try on Netflix? Many also believed that the series might be picked by Netflix, after the NBC canceled the show. If the network renew the show, they could play up on the story more, like what they did with 'Longmire' Season 4.

While these things are just speculations and probability, we are still hopeful for 'Constantine' Season 2 may be picked up by other network.
