"How to Get Away with Murder" season one finale revealed that Sam ordered Frank to kill Lila Stangard, a pregnant sorority girl and mistress of Sam. While fans breathed a sigh of relief after the season ended with the closure of Lila's murder, fans were left hanging when another murder case was left unsolved.
The Shona Rhimes series leaves fans with two mysteries waiting to be solved: who was responsible for the death of Rebecca and who received her message before she got killed? For most fans, the mystery is pretty much a giveaway, which leads them to believe that Frank is the killer.
Actor Charlie Weber, however, begs to disagree. While he admits that it's possible that Frank is Rebecca's killer, he also seemingly hinted that everyone could be a suspect.
"If you watch that last hour again, absolutely everyone had an opportunity to do it. So it's completely up in the air. It really could have been any of us," Weber said.
The actor also revealed that Rebecca had "dirt" on all of the characters in the series, which makes everyone a potential suspect in the murder of Rebecca.
Meanwhile, Wes Gibbins is another potential suspect behind the killing of Rebecca. Entertainment Weekly conducted a poll among its readers and fans as to which character is most likely responsible for the latest murder mystery.
Fans noted that judging from Weber's hints to take a look back on the last of the two-hour season finale of "How to Get Away With Murder," Wes was emotionally unstable and was completely convinced that Rebecca was the one who killed Lila.
