It seems like disbandment rumors are far from becoming true as Korean pop groups, 2NE1, Big Bang, and Girls Generation are said to be preparing for their upcoming comeback. Meanwhile, EXO disbandment rumors continue to be persistent after the recent confirmation of EXO-M member, Tao's exit.
YG Entertainment, which houses 2NE1 denies disbandment rumors as they announced that a comeback will be made after CL fulfils her duties as a solo artist. CL, or Lee Chaerin of 2NE1 is set to release an album in the United States during the first half of the year, and so, the planned comeback of the group will reportedly push through during its second half.
Another group from YG Entertainment, Big Bang is also far from being disbanded as they just released two songs, entitled "Loser" and "Bae Bae". Both tracks were reportedly written by G. Dragon, and T.O.P and was arranged by producer, Teddy. The group will also release one song during the beginning of every month until their upcoming album, "Made", will have its official release in September.
Girls Generation fans are excited, as the girl group is also rumored to be preparing for a comeback since some of its members were recently seen sporting new hairstyles. One of the members, Sunny, was recently seen having a new dark red hair color, which was later confirmed, although the k-pop idol denied cutting her hair short. Taeyeon, who was previously rumored to have had a half-shaved look on her hair, also denied the rumors, although she confirmed to have changed her hair color into blonde. Later, another member, Sooyoung shared in her personal Instagram account that she had her hair cut short. Lastly, Yuri, was also seen having a different look, as she recently spotted having wavy brown hair with bangs in Gimpo Airport.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, EXO-M member Tao confirmed that he's leaving the group following his father's request. Tao's father and SM Entertainment which houses the boy group EXO had a rift regarding Tao's career while being tied to the company. Disbandment rumors continue to swirl, as Lay will be the only EXO-M member left, after Tao's exit from the group. SM Entertainment is also currently facing lawsuits filed by ex EXO-M members Luhan, and Kris.
