Jodi Arias Trial Updates: New website created by murderer’s supporters attempts to influence authorities to reopen the case?

By

Jodi Arias, an innocent looking lady at first, makes headlines for years already. She admitted killing her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander. The killing was so brutal and gross, it became an instant hit to the media. Arias claimed that it was just a result of self-defense, but the seriousness of the wounds and lacerations show another story.

Weeks before the verdict for Jodi Arias' case, Alexander's murderer made considerably disturbing headlines. Source says that she violated a number of prison rules in order to be able to communicate with her so-called supporters. These supporters are sometimes minor and are not yet allowed to make such calls. However, Arias' outsmarted the authorities for a while by giving advice to her fans to create fake Identification cards that will show a different age. Apart from that, it is believed that some of her callers are being used to manage Arias' social networking sites.

Meanwhile, there are claims that Arias is still receiving special attention behind bars. It was shared that upon her arrival, there was a prison lockdown. Aside from this, she is being given a special recreation area. Both were denied by the authorities and cleared that the recreation area is not special to Arias.

She might have received life-imprisonment and little will be known about her in the succeeding years, however one woman who was sentenced with the same gave wise words to Arias. She said that Arias should be patient and must accept what she did. This is Betty Smithey, released from prison after 49 years and was jailed for killing a baby in 1960s.

While there is a great number of Arias' haters, there are also her loyal supporters. In fact, some of them created a website just to clear the murderer's name. The website was put up just this month with only few thousand hits. But if you browse its contents, it clearly shares most information that could be found from multiple sources.

What do you think? Can Jodi Arias' supporters bend the verdict? Is there any chance that they will influence the authorities to reopen the murder case?
