‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ New Promo Art Teases Older Wonder Woman; Chris Pine To Play Her Love Interest?

A new promo art for the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie has just been released and it features Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman.

In the photo, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is featured with her trusty sword and shield and hanging from her waist is the Lasso of Truth. According to Attack of the Fan boy, it is still unclear whether or not Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth will feature its usual truth elements in the upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, Instagram user El Mayimbe reposted the photo that was originally published on Heroic Hollywood's account. According to El Mayimbe, Wonder Woman will be depicted as a much older character in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"In #BatmanvSuperman, Wonder Woman is old. Very old. How old? In the movie there are pictures of her that date HUNDREDS OF YEARS! BOOM!" he captioned the photo.

The Instagram user also reposted an animated version of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and wrote, "RT! HOT #WONDERWOMAN promo art from #BatmanvSuperman #GalGadot."

In other news, there have also been reports that actor Chris Pine could play the role of Wonder Woman's love interest in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

According to Variety, Pine is currently in talks to play Steve Trevor, an intelligence officer in the United States Army during the World War II. In the comic books, Trevor reportedly was involved in a plane crash on Paradise Island and he survived. While there, he was nursed back to life by the Amazon princess named Diana who eventually fell in love with him.

When he returned to the outside world, Diana followed him and eventually became Wonder Woman. As of late, Marvel has not yet commented to the reports. What is only known is that Wonder Woman will have her own solo film directed by Patty Jenkins. The film will be released some time in 2017.
