"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is undoubtedly one of the much-anticipated movies of 2016 where two of most famous superheroes go against each other like in the graphic novel "Luthor." The speculation mill is also currently active due to a report that Jesse Eisenberg will wear a warsuit in Zack Snyder's BvS.
There have been a lot of speculations as to what would spark the conflict between the Cape Crusader and the Man of Steel in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." It could however, follow the story or just give a nod to Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo's graphic novel titled, "Luthor."
The graphic novel was initially called, "Lex Luthor: Man of Steel" and was later published as "Luthor" in hardcover. The novel is narrated from Lex's point of view and reveals his decision to go against Superman and that is to save humanity from the alien being.
At one point in the limited series, Lex Luthor plans to arrange a deal with Bruce Wayne for a medicinal research, which he needed for his own new project "Science Spire." He plans to launch his new superhero Hope, who will replace Superman from the public's eyes.
When Luthor arrived in Gotham, he brought a kryptonite and expressed to Bruce his dismay over the public's blind trust to Superman. Later that night, Superman also arrives in Gotham and blows the kryptonite away. He engaged in a one-sided fight with Batman, which provoked the Cape Crusader to give Lex the research he needs.
Other news relative to Zack Snyder's "Dawn of Justice" involves Jesse Eisenberg, the one who will play Lex Luthor in the movie. After going bald for the role, Eisenberg is said to be preparing to wear Lex's warsuit similar to the armor that his character wore in the comics. If proven true, this will be the first time that the armor will be seen in live-action versions.
"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" may use the "Luthor" graphic novel by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo as their basis for the film's plot. This might probably allow Jesse Eisenberg to wear the Lex Luthor armor known in the comics. Warner Bros. will release the highly-anticipated movie on 2016.
