‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Series To Feature More Chaos Than ‘The Walking Dead’; Zombies Won’t Be Called ‘Walkers’

"Fear the Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman recently dished on the upcoming first season of "The Walking Dead" spinoff.

According to him, "Fear the Walking Dead" will feature more chaos, much more than what fans saw on "The Walking Dead" season 1.

During a recent conference call with Fangoria last week, Kirkman also talked about the possibility of expanding "The Walking Dead" universe by holding various events.

"There's always a possibility for a limited even spin-off and I certainly wouldn't rule it out even though I can say there are no current plans to do that. I think everyone is working hard on 'The Walking Dead' and 'Fear the Walking Dead' to make them the best series they can be and I think everyone's happy with their work since we're all doing our jobs," he said.

Kirkman then went on to confirm the upcoming premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" on AMC which will take place sometime in August, Design N Trend reported. Meanwhile, "Fear the Walking Dead" season 1 will only have six episodes and it will feature zombies and the dead that will not be called "walkers."

In an interview with Yahoo TV, series showrunner Dave Erickson explained that unlike "The Walking Dead," the zombies and the dead will not be called "walkers" on "Fear the Walking Dead" because at that time, such a term has not yet been coined.

"All I'll say is this. I love the fact that in the comic and the original show, the vernacular, the language, varies depending on your community, your city, your state, whether it's walkers or biters. The names that we'll play with are kind of specific to what our characters experience as the story begins," he said.

"Fear the Walking Dead" stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mercedes Mason and more.
