'The Blacklist' spoilers reveal that the Season 3 will be focused on more on Megan Boone's character. This may be expected because in the previous seasons, Red was stealing much of the scenes. Also, the anticipated romantic scenes between the two might not happen this season, but it's still complicated.
Despite the declining rating, 'The Blacklist' Season 3 has been renewed by the NBC with new and fresh episodes. So, it's only justifiable that the show's writers are doing their best to make changes in Season 3.
One of the speculations is that the show may be bringing Elizabeth "Liz" Keen in front, rather than Raymond "Red" Reddington. The character of Liz will be given a new dimension in The Blacklist Season 3 to appeal to the audience of the popular series.
It was also reported that Season 3 will have more action revolving around Liz and that the trajectory of her character will be clearer. We can also expect to see a clearer understanding why Red was so determined to protect her all the time, things on that end will also be explored.
As for anything romantic happening between the lead characters Liz and Red, 'The Blacklist' season 3 spoilers revealed that the show will not be focused on that just yet. In a recent interview, actress Megan Boone said, "I think people see how much Red loves her, and it is a confusing kind of love," Boone continued. "I think that will have to be answered. How do you love someone that deeply -- no matter what the circumstances, but especially when the circumstances are mysterious?"
"I think she loves him, but I don't think there are romantic feelings. ... I don't necessarily think it's a [romantic] love story between Liz and Reddington, even though there are people out there that really feel that's what they want."
