Jason Statham will grace the big screen in yet another action-packed movie with a comedic spin, "Spy" alongside Melissa McCarthy. While the movie is still up for a release in UK on June 5, the 48-year-old actor already has his hands full of movies to shoot, as Statham is rumored to reprise his role in "Fast & Furious 8."

Jason Statham, the man who is known for his outstanding performances in action movies including "Parker," "Crank," "The Transporter," "The Expendables" and "Redemption," recently expressed his thoughts on which roles he wish to take on in the coming years. While Statham is known for his serious roles in movies, the actor recently starred in the comedy film, "Spy" alongside Melissa McCarthy.

The 48-year-old actor recently revealed that he hopes to be the next James Bond after Daniel Craig hands over the title in the upcoming 007 movie, "Spectre."

"I'd make a decent Bond but it's be very, very different if I did it," Statham told Telegraph.

Statham also expressed during the interview that he finds it frustrating whenever he sees young "phony" superhero actors who do not do their own stunts and instead rely on their doubles to do the act for them.

Statham also admitted that he looks up to Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li for refusing to have a double do the stunts for them. He also revealed that he has always been a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.

Meanwhile, Statham is rumored to reprise his role in the upcoming sequel, "Fast & Furious 8." Statham first starred in the franchise in "Furious 7" as Owen's brother, Deckard, who finds his brother in a state of coma in the hospital.

Deckard promised to avenge for his brother and performed a high-speed car chasing with lots of gun shooting against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris).

"To me, it depends what Universal are doing and when they want to go," Statham said of reprising his role for the sequel.
