'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' has been confirmed to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and while we all wait until the announcement for the official release of the game, the box art design has been spreading across the internet.
The leaked box art looks simple with Drake looking anguished (fans suspects he's killed a dear friend), with a bleeding forehead and a gun on his hand. He is standing in a very dense forest.
Directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley said that with the PS4 allowing them to put up much more to the game, it has been a truly fun development.
Straley said during the first announcement of the game: "Now, the PS4 is allowing us to push so much more density, so it's fun to go back and go like, 'Oh, look at the things we wish we could have done in Uncharted 1, it's just like, this is easy, let's just make this.' It's nice to be able to explore something and look back and go, 'Wow, remember when we couldn't do any of this?' It's kind of neat."
Moreover, reports also say that the release for the game will be prior to or on March 31 next year, but this is yet to be confirmed. The speculations were based on a Sony financial document that has the game as part of its current fiscal year, suggesting that the plan for the game's release is before the end of the fiscal year, which will be on March 31 next year. This idea goes in the right ways as Naughty Dog stated that the date for the game will be in the early spring next year, after the delay.
It's been known that the delay was caused by the major development and proper weaving of the plots, directors stating that the game is "much more ambitious than we originally envisioned."
Finally, reports say that the game will have a multiplayer mode, based on the recent tweet of lead game designer Robert Cogburn, saying, "Epic match between MP team and QA MP team today. Of course, the MP team won."
Fans of the game can also anticipate a playable to appear in E3 this month, and a probable announcement of the official release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
