Tekken 7 New Playable Character Kazumi Mishima, Wife of Heihachi Transforms to a Devil as Final Boss; Bandai Namco Tells Xbox One, PS4 Release in EVO 2015?

Tekken 7 gets another playable character, which will make combat more intense and diverse. The Bandai Namco title runs on the Unreal Game Engine 4, allowing gameplay features to be at their best. While the game is only out as an arcade game in Japan, it will be featured in EVO 2015 on July 17-19 in LA.

The latest playable character for Tekken 7 is none other than Kazumi Mishima. She is the wife of Heihachi and the mother of Kazuya, being the one to possess the Devil Gene. Her character was the final boss of the title, which was not playable at first. While the game creators added her in the fighters' roster for gamers to enjoy, her devil was not included.

When it comes to Kazumi Mishima's fighting style, it involves the Mishima Style Fighting Karate technique. This has high resemblance to that of her son and husband. Her capabilities were further showcased in the latest trailer for Tekken 7. It showed maneuvers such as open-palm strikes, summoning a tiger, roundhouse kicks, as well as counters.

Of course, a major interest to fans is that Mishima can get a tiger to assist her in combat. This is seen in the trailer, where the animal is clawing, pouncing, spinning, as well as helping Kazumi perform an uppercut.

Kazumi's character serves as a comeback for Tekken 7 in terms of delivering powerful female fighters. While the new character, Lucky Chloe, was described by fans as dumb and sexist, game boss Katsuhiro Harada made the point that the same will not apply anywhere near Kazumi.

Tekken 7 has already been delivered to selected Japanese arcades. However, Harada and the rest of his crew are still working on refining the game for its grand release. The title will be played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, where fans would be able to see what Kazumi is truly capable of.
