Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is scheduled to release a few months away. Nevertheless, features of the game have been surfacing as fans would post on social media. In the fortunate moment, some of these would be addressed by top members of the Treyarch title's game development.
Apart from this, a report on the pre-orders for CoD shows an interesting difference between units sold in PlayStation 4 and in Xbox One. The PS4 version has a total of 120K in sales, while the Xbox One version has 174K. This has much to do with the plans for a timed exclusive, although there are rumors that this deal might actually change.
David Vonderhaar, the Design Director of the game development company, received a tweet from a fan regarding popular maps in the Call of Duty franchise. The user @WeLoveRobDrydek posted on Twitter an image of Nuketown along with the words, "Gone but not forgotten."
Fans would very well know that Nuketown is a prominent multiplayer map in Call of Duty, as would be Dust in CS, Lockout in Halo 2, and even Gold Rush in Team Fortress 2. The Design Director managed a response to this sweet, which went by the simple words, "Says who."
This only tells fans that Nuketown is not totally out of the picture as one of the multiplayer maps in the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 3. The said map has already been part of the first two games of the series.
Now, this is not the only activity on Twitter happening for the game. A few days ago, Vonderhaar made another tease which showed a monkey which was armed with what appeared like a bomb. It came with the statement, "#tbt 'Get ready for a surprise,'" He also mentioned how he is eager to show fans what the title has in store for its fans, particularly for the upcoming E3.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has a scheduled release date on November 6, 2015. The time is set a few years past Advanced Warfare, specifically in 2060. With three years taken for its development, this is one game fans would not want to miss updates on.
