The Blacklist Spoilers: Megan Boone Teases Fans Romantic Love Story of Liz and Reddington to Bloom in Season 3

By

The Blacklist Season 2 finale had 7.49 million viewers and is now renewed for a third season. Now, fans are wondering what will happen next to The Blacklist Season 3.

Will Liz and Tom will have their happy ending soon? That's the biggest question when Liz became fugitive.

In Season 2, we now know that Liz has killed her father. In addition, Liz, with Red, is on the run after Liz murdered someone.

Ryan Eggold, who portrays the part of Tom, said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that since The Blacklist seasons 1 and two were more of an unveiling the series questions, the following seasons will be more about finding the answers for those questions.

As regards to the romantic plot between the lead characters in The Blacklist Season 3, it is revealed that the next season won't be focusing on it yet.

Megan Boone who portrays the character Elizabeth Keen, said that she "think[s] people see how much Red loves her, and it is a confusing kind of love."

"I think that will have to be answered. How do you love someone that deeply -- no matter what the circumstances, but especially when the circumstances are mysterious?"

"I think she loves him, but I don't think there are romantic feelings. ... I don't necessarily think it's a [romantic] love story between Liz and Reddington, even though there are people out there that really feel that's what they want."

"I think it's interesting that people have so many feelings about Liz's love life, especially when it's really not the thing that's on the forefront of her mind," she added.

In The Blacklist Season 3, it is revealed that they would be focusing on Liz instead of Red. If this is true, this will be a game changer for the series since it has always been focused on Red.

The Blacklist Season 3 fans should just have to wait since the show won't be back on the small screen until fall.
