Fantastic Four will have a reboot and it going to surprise fans, says comic writer Mark Miller. It is indeed a surprise for the fans because a "white" character Johnny Storm, The Human Torch, will be played by a colored guy Michael B. Jordan.

Ever since the confirmation of the reboot of Fantastic Four people are excited for the new treatment of the story.

Mark Miller, creative consultant of Fantastic Four, said that the fans will be surprised with the reboot.

"I've seen chunks of it but not the complete movie, and it's looking good. What I'm really excited for is to see how many people are surprised by it," Miller said. "I remember everybody bitching about Fantastic Four for about six months then the trailer came out and everyone is like 'this is really good.' I think it'll surprise people."

It has already been announced that the Fantastic Four will be played by Jumper star Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm or The Thing, Divergent star Miles Teller as Reed Richards or Mr. Fantastic, 127 Hours star Kate Mara as Sue Storm or Invisible Woman and That Awkward Moment star Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm or The Human Torch.

In regards to the casting of Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch, "purist" fans of Fantastic Four question casting a colored man in a supposedly white character. They claim it's not a racist remark. Fans said that they just want to remain pure with the comic books.

Jordan isn't happy about the criticisms. He said in Entertainment Weekly, that things change and since the release of the original Fantastic Four, there's this thing called diversity.

"To the trolls on the Internet, I want to say: Get your head out of the computer. Go outside and walk around. Look at the people walking next to you. Look at your friends' friends and who they're interacting with. And just understand this is the world we live in. It's okay to like it," he wrote.

On a positive note, even though the reboot hasn't been released yet, Fantastic Four 2 has been confirmed and it will be released on June 9, 2017 and will be up against Brad Pitt's sequel movie World War Z 2.

The reboot of Fantastic Four will hit the theaters on Aug. 7, 2015.
