Dragon Ball fans will surely rejoice, especially those located in the United States, the blockbuster hit 'Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F' will be coming to their big screens from August 8 until August 12. Western fans of the animated film are already looking forward to the movie and have taken to IMDB to post movie ratings, beating Furious 7 by 1.4 points.
'Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F' or 'Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F' or 'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F' was such a big blockbuster office hit in Japan that it has defeated the Hollywood top grosser 'Fast and Furious 7'. In fact, Japan is the only country that 'Furious 7' didn't hit number 1. It has even surpassed IMDB ratings, garnering a score of 9.1 versus Vin Diesel's FF7 score of 7.7. This truly proves that western fans are looking forward to seeing Goku on the big screen.
Funimation has confirmed that 'Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F' or 'Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F' will be screening in the US from August 8-August 12. Screening location have yet to be identified but movie fans can register at the Dragon Ball Z site to get fresh news about the movie's screening venues.
This latest installment to the Dragon Ball franchise will reportedly be shown in 74 countries this summer as reported by Latinopost. The US version is being dubbed by Chris Ayres as Frieza, Chris Sabat as Vegeta and Sean Schemmel as Son Goku.
'Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F' will be a direct sequel of 'Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods'. The plot revolves around Frieza's resurrection and revenge. While Frieza is plotting his revenge against Goku and the Trunks, his minions Tagoma and Sorbet convinced Pilaf, Mai and Shu to collect all the Dragon Balls in order to resurrect him. Frieza then raises an army and turns into a "Golden Frieza". It took a Vegeta and Goku team-up, with the latter transforming into his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, to defeat the Golden Frieza.
Movie fanatics and die-hard Dragon Ball Z fans will surely be watching out for Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu No F.
