The new Supergirl TV series will start airing its pilot episode by November. However, as early as now, there are reports circulating that Episode 1 has already leaked on the Internet.

While it was earlier announced that Supergirl will premiere on October this coming fall, Den of Geek has confirmed that the DC-adapted series will air on November. Supergirl will be watched out on Mondays, starting on November 2.

Supergirl, as portrayed by Melissa Benoist of Glee, is Kara Danvers or Kara Zor-El. She is the cousin of Superman. At the age of 12, Kara was sent to the Earth from Krypton, her home planet that is about to die. She is adopted by the Danvers who tell her to be careful not to expose her extraordinary powers. At 24, Kara works as a personal assistant to Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) who founded media corporation CatCo.

After years of hiding her secret, goes public during a sudden disaster where she is able to use her powers. Having experienced the happiness that helping other people brought her, she decides to continue doing so that people started calling her Supergirl. The pilot alone cost $14 million in production. Viewers could only hope that they will be expecting a good show especially that Supergirl was nominated as one of the Most Exciting New Series during the recent Critic's Choice TV Awards, as announced by the said award-giving body on Twitter.

Amid the excitement for this upcoming superhero series, the Gospel Herald reports that there have been leaks in private online sites of the show's pilot episode. The video was in fact of high quality. This led others to speculate that this may just be a marketing campaign for the show.

While CBS has not given any statement on the issue, Supergirl will definitely fly on your screens Mondays at 8 pm on CBS starting November 2.
