Mistresses ended up with a shocking season finale episode and if you think that's just too much you might have to think again as spoilers of the upcoming season is hinting a more exciting and controversial season. New characters as well as new more interesting twists and plots has been implemented on the series.

Season 2 ended with Jes Macallan's character Joss ditching her soon to be husband Scott on the altar and was seen rolling on the sand with her sister's ex-boyfriend Harry. It looks like the little sister will learn new lesson as another character who will portray the role of "friend, mentor and surrogate sister" is about to come. The mistress Calista Raines (Jennifer Esposito) is described as an "uber-fabulous and larger-than-life" woman who despite the fact the she has everything is lonely deep down inside. Esposito's character is supposed to lead Joss to a "darker and betray-driven" world.

This new character is the result of Alyssa Milano's character Savi's exit from the show, she portrays the role Joss' big sister as well as part of the Mistresses. Milano confirmed her exit of the show and stated that it was due to family matters, as she cannot afford to relocate her family after the location of the series was moved from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada.

Recently ABC had released a 30-seconder video for the fans and it seems like the things had become more complicated than ever given that April told Karen that she might need for six therapists, that gives fans an idea of how crazy season 3 might be.

Meanwhile April (Rochelle Aytes) is about to meet the love of her as she is going to meet Blair, the headmaster of her daughter's school who's "mere presence commands respect" making him the ideal partner for April given the fact the April is single parenting her daughter.

April will also be meeting her mom, a judge and whom April is not in good terms with. Furthermore, a new character portrayed by Chrishell Stause of All my Children will be joining the casts of the show as the young woman who meets April when she tries out "hot yoga".

Mistresses will return with season 3 on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 9pm on ABC.
