Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials Latest Updates: Deadlier and bigger obstacles await the Gladers

By

'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' is set to premiere on the silver screen this September 18, 2015. This is the second installment to the Maze Runner franchise and it is expected that it will be another blockbuster hit. The plot for the upcoming movie will pick up from the conclusion of the first film.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Wes Ball will be directing and T.S Nowlin will be writing for the movie once again. Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials is produced by Temple Hill Entertainment and Gotham Group. Dylan O'Brien, Thomas Brodie- Sangster and Kaya Scodelario among many others will return to the big screen to wow the show's fans.

The first Maze Runner has surprised many viewers with its amazing production. It came as a shock for many. With just $35 million budget, Forbes shared that it gained more than $350 million globally. It is expected that Ball will once again do the same magic for the second Maze Runner and to be able to work in a shoestring budget.

Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials will pick up from where the first movie ended. Based from Design Trend's report, the sequel will be the Phase 2 of the maze. The Gladers thought that the first maze was the end of it. But apparently, it was just a part of a bigger plan. To make it more challenging, there will be no rules, and there will be no help. There are only two choices - to live and to die. The Gladers have only two weeks for this challenge.

Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials is said to be bigger than the first installment. With just few months away from the premiere date, its fans can hardly wait to be amazed with the post-apocalyptic inspired movie directed and produced by one of the best team.
