Final Fantasy 15’s Updated Demo: Episode Duscae 2.0 For Xbox One And PS4 Release On June 9

By

Finally, game fans will see another sneak peak of the much awaited installment to the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy 15. Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy 15's updated demo, Episode Duscae 2.0, will be released on June 9 starting at 8 AM PDT / 11 AM EDT / 4 PM UK across Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Game director Hajime Tabata announced the demo's release during Square Enix's Active Time Report broadcast held on June 4. Final Fantasy 15's Episode Duscae 2.0 is expected to include a variety of changes and improvements, based on the volumes of feedback received from the first version of the demo.

Director Tabata even addressed the top fifteen complaints about Episode Duscae that were revealed during the April Active Time Report. From explaining or expressing his opinion on issues such as game's Cindy character being "too sexy," as well as camera, frame rate, and resolution concerns, Tabata addressed all the concerns one by one.

Game fans who are looking forward to seeing more about Final Fantasy 15 during this month's E3 conference will be disappointed since Square Enix has revealed that they will not have the game's trailer ready by E3. "After internal discussions, we decided not to create an E3 trailer," studio marketing manager Akio Ofuj said during Square Enix's livestream. He added, "Sorry for lying." The game's director, Hajime Tabata, also said, "It's unfortunate. We said we'd have something at E3, and there's nothing." Gamers would have to wait until Gamescon in August to get more information about the game.

Meanwhile, Tabata also mentioned that several key things from Final Fantasy Versus 13 that fans have been asking about, are not part of Final Fantasy 15. One of that the character Stella, Noctis' opposite, has been scrapped. She is replaced by a new female character named Luna. No information about Luna was provided at this time.

Final Fantasy 15 Episode Duscae 2.0 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on Tuesday, June 9.
