RHOA Nene Leakes, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's most vocal and one who can lay claim to be ever-present (Season 1 to Season 7), not to mention ever-loud, is definitely turning heads as she clashes once again with one of the show's main man, Executive Producer Andy Cohen. Allegedly, it's a case of being a bad talk show host. It appears the Glee star is acting bully again and living up to her reputation. But does she not tire of getting all the negative energy?
She might have an axe to grind though. As she says she was not handled right during a recent Real Housewives reunion in the Watch What Happens Live! where the (in)famous talk show is no other than Andy Cohen, who everyone knows also handles the RHOA casts.
But that may not be the biggest news of late for RHOA fans and loyal following. One more serious than petty bickerings and senseless one-ups looms over the horizon.
Acting on a court order, federal government is already keeping itself busy making convicted felon Apollo Nida's pay. As many may have known by now, Nida, hubby of RHOA co-star Phaedra Parks and one who appeared in Season 7's filming has been sentenced to eight years for fraud which reportedly run to the millions. RHOA's mother Bravo network as Nida appeared to have participated in the much-ballyhooed series filming.
But Bravo producers are crying foul. Even when The Feds has filed two separate subpoenas to demand part of the $1.9 million Nid owes, it is believed the government agents may have to look elsewhere as network bosses are saying Huose-husbands are not paid for appearing in the show. That would mean Bravo Network is not in any way obliged to pay anybody, the government including, for the felon's debts to society. Ugh!
Good that that's been cleared up. Also, things should go well for Nene Leakes and her producer. And that is what appears to have happened.
In a reveal in his recent Ask Andy segments, Cohen divulged that Leakes did in fact call him - and didn't even wait 24 hours to do it. Pestering him on how terrible his handling of the RHOA reunion in his show - most specifically in his treatment of the tall blondie.
According to the openly-gay show host:
"She said that her friends said that I was really shady to her on the show. To which he replied, 'Well that's funny because everyone on Twitter says that you were nasty to me on the show.' So the conversation went back and forth.
"We settled it like we always do, just kind of by laughing. I mean, I was like, 'You need new friends!' And she was like, 'Don't listen to people on Twitter!' I go, 'You need new friends! Your friends suck!'"
Seems everything's ironed out for the show. Then legal and otherwise, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's right on schedule.
