"Orange Is the New Black" season 3 episode 1 will celebrate the mothers inside Litchfield with the annual Mother's Day visitation, reports TIME. The opener tries to emphasize the mother-child connection inside detention, including the actual, potential, and surrogate mothers.
Previously, we reported that the new season of the Taylor Schilling-starrer will be bringing a new and lighter theme in it. And based on TIME's report, aside from a lighter theme, the show will also be emotional for some as the show highlights the relationship of the characters to their loved ones outside detention.
The Mother's Day celebration episode will also allow the relatives of the inmates to witness how their mother's submit to authorities, even dropping to the ground when they are told to. That scene will surely make the OITNB fans tear up.
Meanwhile, the show's favorite and complicated couple, Alex and Piper will be dealing with their issues this season with lots of cathartic rough sex, as per TV Guide's report. Alex (Laura Prepon) will also be a little paranoid in the new season as after she became convinced that someone was sent to Litchfield to kill her.
Variety previously reported about the acclaimed show's renewal for a fourth season even though the third has not even started yet, proving that the acclaimed show is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated series today.
