Slated for release sometime this coming October, the iPad Mini 4 has been causing a lot of buzz among tech and gadget enthusiasts out there, especially for the Apple fans.
Known as the pioneer of the smartphone devices since the original iPhone, Apple's succeeding releases of smartphone devices have always been taken with high regards and the expectations are always high. Apple's announcement of the release of what would be the successor to the iPad Mini 3 is never less intense as to the hype its products are always known for.
The initial speculation was born as a result of the pattern seen with the release dates of the previous iPad Minis, a logic who has been earlier unveiled at Macworld given the following:
iPad mini: Unveiled 23 October released 2 November 2012
iPad mini 2: Unveiled 22 October, released 12 November 2013
iPad mini 3: Unveiled 16 October, released 24 October 2014
Nearly a year after the release of the iPad Mini 3, there is not yet an exact date for the release of iPad Mini 4. But if the patterns are right, we are more than likely to see a release date ranging from late October up until early November.
Apple, Inc. are still currently tight-lipped with any announcements regarding iPad Mini 4 yet speculations are already high with regards to its hardware specifications, mostly as a result of comparing existing models to a unit notch higher than it yet still waiting to be materialized. This issue, however, is something that does not surprise given how early the buzz has been going around about the iPad Mini 4.
If speculations such as what GottaBeMobile's comparison to an existing iPad model (iPad Air 2) is to be taken as valid, the iPad Mini 4's hardware specifications would appear to be at almost the same league as iPad Air 3, which is also slated for release later this year. As for the pricing, assumptions are also good that iPad Mini 4 will have an introductory price of $399 upon release similar to its predecessors did.
