Arrow Season 4 has been confirmed and fans across the globe are excited when it will be aired. Sadly, CW have not announced a premiere date for the series.
There will be a new director in Arrow Season 4. Lexi Alexander, director of Punisher: War Zone, will direct an episode for the fourth season of Arrow. There's no details on what episode it will be but Alexander herself has confirmed through her Twitter account that they will start filming this August.
Alexander said on Twitter, "They have not. But I'm excited to direct Arrow in August. ;-)" In reply to a question of Twitter user regarding her with "Marvel projects with Netflix".
Regarding the cast of the series, it is confirmed that Damian Darhk will be the villain of Arrow Season 4. This has been confirmed though the Al Sah-Him episode of Arrow Season 4. Damian Darhk is a small Teen Titans villain. Another question floating around is whether someone in the show will finally be the Green Lantern persona. It's still unconfirmed but is a possibility.
Arrow Season 4 will most probably return to the small screen on October 7, 2015.
This theory came from Den of Geek. Arrow Season 1 premiered on Wednesdy October 10, 2012, the night before NYCC. Arrow Season 2 premiered on Wednesday October 9, 2013, the night before NYCC. Arrow Season 3 premiered on Wednesday October 8, 2014, the night before NYCC. Den of Geek does make sense with this theory.
They have released a storyline for Arrow Season 4 but, sadly, no spoilers:
"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. He returned home to Starling City, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice. To do this, he created the persona of the Arrow and allied himself with former military man John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), billionaire inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), lawyer-turned-vigilante Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), and his sister Thea (Willa Holland). Uneasy alliances and rivalries will shift as Oliver faces his most difficult challenge yet."
As of now, we just have to wait if the release date of Arrow Season 4 will actually be on October 7, 2015.
