Katy Perry and Taylor Swift rivalry seems to have gone a little notch higher because the "Roar" singer is giving back "Bad blood" singer with a new song. Many think that the feud gets nasty. Some also think that mischievous challenge has just begun.
DigitalSpy reported that those people who are aware of what's going on between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift would assumed that "Bad Blood" is written because Perry induces Swift to write that new single. But it appears that Perry is about to retaliate.
Swift told Rolling Stone in her interview with them that "Bad Blood" is about an upshot with a fellow singer, whose name she didn't disclose. In addition, Swift beforehand described the person as a "straight-up enemies." Then she went on with another upfront revelation about the person who "would come up at award shows, say something and walk away" and she's left to herself asking if are they really friends or just did the harshest insult to her.
Another implication that the "Blood Blood" is really meant for Katy Perry because Selena Gomez, who is playing the role in the music video, is wearing a wig that is akin to Katy's hair.
Filmibeat also reported that Katy Perry has chosen to give it back to Taylor. It was confirmed that the "Roar" singer will retaliate by roaring at "Bad Blood" singer with a new song called "1984". Is Perry taunting Swift with this new recording? This news came right after Perry booked her new track, "1984", on BMI.
In her interview with Billboard, Perry has been vocal about the public feud saying "If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it."
Refinery29 stated in its article that while Katy Perry looks like she has no problem discussing her feud with Taylor Swift, the "1989" album hitmaker said she doesn't want to discuss that feud. As of press time, the camp of Perry has not revealed to media and fans what the new single "1984" is all about. A few speculates that it could be all about Perry's dirty secrets- Perry was born in that year by the way. But some hope that it can be a "Teenage Dream" Part Two. There's no specific date yet for "1984" to be released in the music chart.
As for the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift rivalry, well, it looks like someone started the war, and the opponent gladly accepts it. This could either go on so many rounds or someone has to hoist a white flag or tap out.
