Rumored to be a revolutionary device that will go beyond what existing cameras can do with its 8k resolution video recording, which is twice as much as the current best resolution for existing cameras (4k resolution), this is all thanks to GoPro Hero 5's A10 processor developed by AMD, according to a report at Master Herald.
Based on the same report, this quad-core AMD processor is a flagship member of the Trinity series that is set to run of up to 4.2 GHz clock speed that was originally meant to process high-end gaming in desktops or laptops. By having incorporated the same powerful chip into the GoPro Hero 5, it will make the mentioned device to be the most powerful among videographic cameras available commercially upon released.
Were the rumors regarding the 8k resolution be materialized for the GoPro Hero 5, such a resolution will be referred to as the Full Ultra HD in comparison to the existing 4k resolution called simply as Ultra HD. Notions are also strong that this upcoming device will be able of making Full Ultra HD records but at a slower frame rate, should it be made into fruition, than it would with a 4k-resolution which is set to run smoothly at 60 frames-per-second.
Although there is not yet an official statement coming from the manufacturer of the device regarding the release date, a report at The Gospel Herald Technology claims that the estimated release for the device will be somewhere between September and October of this year based on the release dates of the previous GoPro Hero devices.
While it is still early to speculate as to the overall outcome of this wonderful device, the GoPro Hero 5 device is looking amazing in paper. Whether it would materialized as expected based on the details available so far is yet to be known.
