Sony has made announcements on making another superhero movie based on Valiant comics, battling with Marvel, DC and many other big movie companies that help build the age of the comicbook-to-movie treatment. This superhero is "Bloodshot".
When this happens, Valiant entertainment will already be among those whose comic superheroes have gone out on the big screen, considering they're also doing pretty well on the comics industry. The director of the movie will be David Leitch and Chad Stahelski , the duo behind "John Wick". Four more films were scheduled to come out in the film deal that the comic company signed last April. Harbinger is included in the deal, along with its follow-up Harbinger War, and also Shadowman and Archer and Armstrong.
The movie will certainly focus on the Wolverine-like character. Bloodshot has made a good curve of a growing fanbase in the comics business and will certainly be loved when he comes out on his own movie. The story will perhaps focus on his challenges as a former soldier, which will continue when he gets injected with the "nanites" into his bloodstream which subsequently enabled him to interface with technology with utter ease. This also made him become capable of healing and shape shifting. More so, aside from these acquired superpowers, he's also really good with guns.
This will of course delve in with the Project Rising Spirit. In Bloodshot's world, the government instigated a soldier-enhancement project and this gave him his superpowers, including his perfect memory imprinting.
The Harbingers will also be heavily involved. A superhero team called the Harbingers will also make an appearance in the bloodshot film. This is then to be followed by the actual Harbinger movie and the Harbinger War.
Jeff Wadlow, writer of Kick Ass 2, and Eric Heisserer, writer of The Thing, will be drafting the script. Matthew Vaughn and Jason Kothari will produce.
The Bloodshot movie will go hand-in-hand with the Venom movie in the year 2017. Further details of the movie shall be announced. For now, the question goes: Who will play the lead?
