Assassin's Creed Syndicate is going to make a number of lucky players very happy should they be included in the playtest which will be happening this month. Ubisoft intends to use this as an opportunity to gain feedback from the title's fans prior to the official launch. Moreover, die-hard fans of the game will be able to grasp the experience in other forms as merchandise and a novel are in the works from the game developer.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is the next game in its series, which will follow Assassin's Creed Unity. The latter came out with mixed feedback as well as technical bugs, hence Ubisoft is likely learning from its mistakes by getting reactions from players early on. As noted in a report, this will allow the testers to "share their feedback directly with the development team, ultimately making an impact on the final game."
In order to experience the game, there will be certain requirements from Ubisoft. The first chance for this would be on the road show of Assassin's Creed Syndicate during the E3 in LA, particularly on June 17. Interested players should send an email to playtestroadshow@ubisoft.com which should contain their name, age, and a maximum of 100 words explaining why they would want to join.
The message from Ubisoft continues, "An E3 badge is not required to participate. Please note that participants must be 17 years of age or older. Transportation will not be provided to and from the Playtest Road Show, and participation will be subject to availability and verification of eligibility."
On top of the game, the franchise is being sold in the form of collectibles and books, as reported in VG 24/7. According to Ubisoft, some of these products would be life-size replica of weapons, as well as figurines. Apart from these, an official art book and a novel will also be brought to fans.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate will make its debut on October 23, 2015 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 as well as a Windows PC version to arrive within the fall. A lot has already been happening for the game in terms of game updates and promotions. Fans should come back once in a while for more news.
