Game of Thrones season 5 is probably one of the most popular and sought after series of 2015. Ever since its premier last April, game of thrones become of the most talked about series and now that the show is about to end its seasons, spoilers as well as speculations regarding the ending of the show is starting to circulate around the internet.
The upcoming season finale of the show is entitled "A Mother's Mercy" and recent theories made by fans are pointing out to the so called "L + R=J" theory. This theory is pointing out to Ned Stark's "bastard" Jon Snow being the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen.
"A mother's mercy" according to the person who formulated this theory refers to the action taken by Lyanna asking her brother to look after and take Jon Snow as his own son knowing that Robert will likely kill every single creature who has a Targaryen blood in his veins.
Although it hasn't been confirm yet the speculation has been earning a lot of attentions from the fans of the show especially since Lyanna has been frequently mentioned recently with Sansa even going down to visit her crypt. Also except Cersei who is very unlikely knowing her personality, Daenerys being a mother of dragons and the late Catelyn Stark all the remaining ladies of the show aren't yet mothers so it is actually possible that the theory is real.
Furthermore, a recent report has it that Game of Thrones season 6 has two confirmed locations already and both are located in Spain. Girona, one of the locations is known for its "well-preserved medieval architecture" which according to speculations will possibly be the locations of Westerosi or free cities.
Another location, Peñíscola is said to feature a fortified seaport and a castle, which, according to many fits the description of the The Storm's End, the seat of house Baratheon. According to a Song of Ice and Fire which the series is based on, "the castle is built upon the rocks of Shipbeaker Bay. It has a huge drum of tower for the main keep and is surrounded by high fortified walls."
Meanwhile the show's episode 9 entitled "The Dance of Dragons" had been the talk of the fans especially after Stannis sacrificed his own daughter Princess Shireen in order for them to reach Winterfell. Meanwhile Daenerys, who was attacked by the "Sons of Harpy" was saved by Drogons and her three dragons who took her away from her enemies.
Game of Thrones will be airing its season finale "A mother's mercy" on June 14, 2015.
