Christopher Lee passed awayat 93 on Sunday after being treated for respitory problem at Westminster Hospital. Celebrities poured out their tribute in social media.

From the report of Channel24, Roger Moore was said to be among the first who paid tribute to Lee shortly after learning his demise. Moore recalled his friendship with Christopher Lee. He met Lee in 1948, and he felt terrible losing an old friend.

Eljah Wood who worked with Lee for quite sometime when they did "Lord Of The Rings" films has expressed his profound thought of the late Lee, and he tweeted "An extraordinary man and life lead, Sir Christopher Lee. You were an icon, and a towering human being with stories for days. We'll miss you."

Director Tim Burton directed Christopher Lee with 5 movies , which includes "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory" said that Lee has been an enormous inspiration for him, and that Lee was "the last of his kind- a true legend."

Another touching report is published by RadioTimes. It recorded the tribute made by Director Peter Jackson. He described Lee as "An icon of cinema has passed into legend," in his facebook account. Jackson had worked with Lee when they were filming the "Lord of The Rings" and "The Hobbits" movies.

Jackson said he grew up loving the movies of Christopher Lee. He added that all of his life he was always enthralled by the movies that Lee made. In one of his statements in his article, Jackson said, "It is with tremendous sadness that I learnt of the passing of Sir Christopher Lee."

Indeed, the world would never be the same without Christopher Lee. He is survived by his wife Gitte and only Christina Erika Carandini.
