The Winds of Winter is yet to hit the bookshelves and there is no confirmed date on when the public can see the 6th installment from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. However, the famous author teases its fans a possible preview of the book this August at ConQuest 2015.
According to Vine Report, it is expected that the book will be finished by 2016. And since Game of Thrones in HBO is already airing, the fans believe that bits and pieces of spoilers can be found from the show. The producers and creators of the TV series have previously shared that they had discussions with George R.R. Martin regarding the major twists and plot of his book. But they are still free to make up their own stories for the small screen.
Given this, the fans shouldn't be surprised if there are still a lot of differences between the TV series and the book. After all, George R.R. Martin decided not to write for the show's 5th and 6th season in order to finish The Winds of Winter. Apparently, the show's creators and writers finished their version earlier as there are lesser characters which they need to build.
As YIBIDA shared in their website, the author is going to tease fans about the preview of the book at the ConQuest 2015 this August which will be held at Germany. There are a lot of speculations on what he will share with his fans. However, the author is mum about it.
Meanwhile, Penguin Random House is about to release a coloring book dedicated for George R.R. Martin's works. Collectors and fans are expected to get their hands on this as well.
George R.R. Martin teased that it's taking him long to finish The Winds of Winter because it is two or three times longer than the usual novels other authors write.
