Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, Koei Tecmo 's new version of the Samurai Warrior's Universe, gets a new gameplay mode that allows deep level of customization. Through the "Edit Mode," gamers can create their own characters by choosing from vast options of facial expressions, armor, weapons and accessories.
Koei Tecmo Europe yesterday announced the game's new set of assets, including its key features like the "Edit Mode." While this feature is not entirely new as it has been implemented in Samurai Warriors 4, there is a difference between the existing mode and the upcoming one. With this upcoming edit mode, gamers can choose the default costumes of the warriors they befriend for their customized characters.
According to the game's publisher, "creating and maintaining relationships with officers and warriors is a very important aspect of Samurai Warrior Chronicles 3." The connection that it creates makes players examine their thoughts and plans and influence their desired outcome. It is during that process where games take a different turn. "As the story mode is completely in the players' hands and the outcomes of battles, alliances, and ultimately the conclusion of the game, is altered by their actions."
Aside from the Edit Mode, the Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 also incorporates the Challenge Mode and battle system of Samurai Warriors 4. The former tests players' efficiency and speed as they fight against thousand of enemies and time simultaneously.
A dedicated website has also been launched for this video game title. This website will be the main source for features as well as photos and videos for PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS. It will be released on June 24 for Nintendo 3DSTM StreetPass and SpotPass as well as PlayStation®VITA touch screen.
The Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 is developed in continuous celebration of the game franchise's 10 year anniversary. It also offers PlayStation®VITA fans the chance to explore the rich and intricate storylines of Sengoku era Japan.
