Evan Blass, the tech leak source, posted on Twitter that Lumia 940 XL (Microsoft Cityman) would give a shot to an Iris scanner, while Lumia 940 (Talkman) is rumored to have three options for its internal storage, according to report told in Crossmap.

Microsoft's new smartphones have been subjected to different rumors and specs leak due to lack of confirmation from the tech giant itself. The latest leaks show that it will be featuring an iris scanner, which is a big step from fingerprint scanning technology. The new Iris scanner will be used in providing the security for Lumia 940 XL.

Lumia 940 XL works perfectly for the proposed operating system of this device and it is also compatible with the Windows Hello system.

As of now, users have clearer image of what these two smartphones will look like based on the specs shown in Yibada.com.The Lumia 940 XL is expected to have a slim design with a metallic unibody frame. The display is about 5.7 inch with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and an Octa-core Snapdragon 810 with Andreno 430 GPU. It has a larger storage with 3 GB RAM, 32 internal storage with a MicroSD card slot that can be upgraded anytime. Lumia 940 XL will have 5 MP selfie camera and a high resolution 20 MP PureView rear camera. The camera is perfect for poor light condition because of its short pulse variable-tone LED flash. In addition, they also add a native pen support and USB Type-C.

Lumia940 is rumored to have a smaller display of 5.2 inch and a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 graphics and 3 GB RAM. Future buyers of the Lumia 940 can choose from three different internal storages, a 32 GB, 64 GB or a 128 GB. According to reports, it also has the same 20 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera.

Microsoft's Lumia 940 XL and Lumia 940 are having the best upgrade on its camera. So far, the tech giant already has an established name in terms of providing the best quality for images. Hopefully, all the specs mentioned above will be seen in the actual product.

According to Whatech,com, Microsoft is set to release the newest Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL by July 29th. Though the said date is not yet official, users are very much excited to get a touch with the new handset.
