"DC Comics: Convergence #8" brings back the DC Multiverse; More storiylines expected as all characters come alive

DC Comics Convergence #8 is giving everyone the turning points of all turning points in the DC Universe - had it still existed. You see this time around the DC Universe is no more. Don't shed a tear though. Enter or make that welcome back the DC multiverse. And all the characters that came alive with each one.

Yes, it's one big party and a full house at that.

With momentous events unfurling in Convergence #8, every superhero and villain from every timeline and reality ever since DC started churning superheroes and villains will spring back into life. And fast!

Be it in pre-Crisis DCU, the Zero-Hour era DCU, pre-Flashpoint DCU, Flashpoint DCU, and much more. As the case maybe, the post-Flashpoint "New 52" era still appears to be the primary DC Universe, but the offerings on the table is a-plenty.

All this thanks to a more saner Brainiac who realized that everything he's come to value including himself will disappear should he continue unto his warpath. And give everyone a reason to smile.

Added to this, we get to have a peek on how the supervillain Brainiac came into existence and how in his/its most villainous self ended up culling worlds and various timelines to complete his bottled collection. Seem to top every villain before him.

To note, Brainiac's bottled cities have come to include heroes of doomed timelines - not to mention those from DC comic's multiverse. After his straightening out, he moves heaven and Earth - what's left of it that is, to set things back to the way it was before.

With the help of Supergirl, Flash and Parallax, the collapse of the multiverse is prevented. As they are sent to the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Super!

Because of this out-of-this-world return of various timelines and multiverse, an interesting unfolding happened. Most every superhero and antithesis from every conceived timeline and universe that DC had brought forward is open season. Open for another storyline in the making.

Never has DC made available so many story options. Making DC Comics: Convergence #8 truly monumental.
