Mortal Kombat X's fun and excitement's just keeps adding up. Fanboys and girls who have raked tons and tons of fun with the latest addition of DLC characters from game developer NetherRealm will soon get their hands even filled as more characters are coming their way. All because of persistent clamor.
Thanks to the first Kombatant Pack, fans may make the most of the machete-wielding Friday the 13th seemingly immortal star Jason Voorhess. Along with Tanya, Tremor and yes Arnold Schwazenegger's Predator. But it seems that's not all, due to the creator company's dedication to serve, a couple of in-demand characters namely Rain and Meat are set to take part of the action in time.
As most gamer fan would already know by now, Jason and Tanya have already been unleashed last May. Coming soon is Predator which if reports prove to be true would be followed immediately by Tremor. All in that sequence.
However, due again to relentless calls from many fans from all over the continent, reportedly NetherRealm is set to release its next character DLC pack.
Apparently this involve two of the most in-demand characters from "Mortal Kombat 9" namely Rain and Meat.
Added to this, recent remarks by co-creator Ed Boon about the arrival of Rain and Meat. While the 51-year old may have exercised some caution by pulling back on what he said it certainly is a no-brainer: a $30 worth of the next Kombatant Pack is just too good to say no to.
And given the way, things have gone, it's highly-likely Rain and Meat will be on everybody's game consoles. Sooner rather than later.
Adding to the rumor mill, it is expected that Baraka and Sindel would complete the four DLC characters in that iteration. In the mean time, everybody's on their toes for the moment's most awaited character, the alien Predator from one of Arnold's most iconic flick.
Certainly, with all the goodies coming, Mortal Kombat X's most interesting.
