The action's overwhelming with Skylanders Superchargers, fifth iteration of the Skylanders series which has wowed millions of kids and parents in the past. For the first time ever, players in this RPG will be able to utilize vehicles. And not only ones that race through tracks and tracks of land but conquer the skies and dive through the waters as well.
In short, this installment is nothing short of the adrenaline rush that would make one stay put on their seats for hours - and hours on end.
Dubbed the next billion-dollar franchise under Activision's wing - in the likes of Call of Duty series - Skylanders Superchargers is set to launch by the 20th of September in time for the summer blockbuster flick "Mad Max: Road Fury". And for the first time like the movie, each little dragon will have a vehicle under its disposal to race through time to save Skylands from Kaos.
What makes this vehicles special is that as confirmed by Polygon these will be able to travel not only on land but in the air. That should put raise the gaming excitement a notch or two higher.
Again, there is the most enduring presence of the evil adversary Kaos out to doing no-good once again. But there maybe more evil this time as the creature of doom has a new doomsday device which feeds directly on the sky itself giving everyone a headache.
Thanks to the vehicles any Skylanders Superchargers fan may pitch in to do away with Kaos and put the land in order. And the best part two players may co-op with one player clearing the path against dangers and the other driving. Now, that add to the excitement.
And speaking of kids, parents should worry not. Even though the action may pattern the up and coming Mad Max film and shares a lot of similarity with the Twisted Metal games, the blood and gore have been done away with and guardians won't have to be extra vigilant.
And as expected, real vehicle toys will soon be available for kids and fan-dom to purchase in brick-and-mortar stores, giving more excitement to the game. These toys can be raced with friends as they can roll across the floor in a jiffy.
SRP for starter pack is reportedly pegged at $74.99 and should be available by September 20, 2015. Each pack comes with two character figures and one vehicle figure along with an all new game portal. Should you want to collect more, additional vehicle figures is available at $14.99 ERP with new figures set at $12.99 ERP.
From the looks of it, it's early Christmas for millions of Skylanders Superchargers loyal following.
