Zayn Malik fans went crazy when a leak of the former One Direction member's rendtion of Rae Sremmurd's "No Type" leaked online. The alleged track caused a nasty controversy on social media between Mic Righteous and producer Naughty Boy.
According to a report with E!News, Naughty Boy seemed to be throwing some shade at the leaked track. He decided to pour his outrage by taking to his Twitter.
"just wait for the real one you won't be disappointed." Naughty Boy tweeted.
But now, Mic Righteous is fighting back, claiming that Naughty Boy is acting shady. The U.K. rapper had reportedly recorded the track earlier alongside Zayn and Naughty Boy.
According to the tweets exchanged between the two, the only reason Naughty Boy has denied producing the track is because Zayn Malik's contract with Sony does not expire for another two years.
"F--k stepping on egg shells cos i wanna keep the label happy.. I ain't signed i can do me...Zayn wants the tune out, he ask me to be on the song, shah (naughtyboy) told me that his label wont let him release any music for the next two yrs.. So you know what i did? I did it for him, for you. And at the end of the day they cant say no to me, i work for the people not the industry." tweeted Mic Righteous.
It looks like Zayn Malik's road towards a solo career is already ridden with controversy. While fans of One Direction are still recovering from his departure from the band, many of the Directioners are still hoping that he will be making his return to the band soon.
