Dave Grohl displayed an awesome show of dedication to his fans despite taking a rather catastrophic stumble during a Foo Fighters concert in Gothenburg, Sweden on Friday. The Foo Fighters frontman proceeded to rock on for another two-and-a-half hours while seated on a chair.

According to a report with BBC, Dave Grohl had miscalculated a jump onto a ramp and fell into the security pit. The Foo Fighters frontman had performed just two songs at the Ullevi stadium when the accident happened.

"I think I just broke my leg," Grohl announced, while lying on the ground. A spectator at the Foo Fighters concert managed to capture the incident on video. Grohl was also quick to assure his fans that the show must go on and that the concert was not going to be put to an end because of the mishap.

"You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters, we're gonna come back and finish this show," he said. "But right now, ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna go to the hospital, I'm gonna fix my leg. But then I'm gonna come back, and we're gonna play for you again! I'm so sorry!"

Grohl would return to the stage an hour later, and proceeded to continue the show while seated on a chair. Fans of the singer were worried about Grohl's condition, but it seems like all is well for the singer. He was recently seen strolling around London while being pushed in a wheelchair by his wife Jordyn. Grohl kept a cheery attitude and even gave a thumbs up for the camera, a report from the Daily Mail said.

The Foo Fighters recently announced the cancellation of their June 14th appearance at the Pinkpop Festival as well as their their show at the AFG Arena in St. Gallen, Switzerland on June 16th.

Dave Grohl isn't the only artist who suffered a mishap continued the show. Enrique Inglesias ended up with a bloody hand during his Tijuana concert in May after a drone trick went awry.
