Chicago Fire will be back for a fourth season. Continue reading to find out what will happen in Chicago Fire Season 4.
Chicago Fire Season 4 will reveal the truth about Casey, some things will change in the firehouse and more challenges for the characters and there will be new characters in the series!
In the last episode of Chicago Fire Season 3, it is shown that when Dawson was about to reveal the result of her pregnancy test, Casey went missing and his stripper friend is dead. Where did Casey go? Is Dawson pregnant because of her excitement to tell Casey the result?
If Dawson is indeed pregnant, then Chicago Fire Season 4 plot will have a lot of changes for Dawson. First off, will she quit being a firefighter all together because of obviously pregnant women can't be a firefighter or will she just shift to desk work? Or worst, will she quit the job all together, which might mean less onscreen time for Dawson?
Another question that fans are asking is where is Casey? If it is true that Casey will become a father, will the dead stripper friend affect him as a father?
Matt Olmstead, Chicago Fire executive producer, revealed in an interview that their will be a new theme for Chicago Fire Season 4!
Olmstead said that there will be "shift within the firehouse".
"There are shifts within the firehouse that you're going to see ... in terms of personnel and people having some new roles within the firehouse -- within their personal lives," he said. "People get knocked out of their comfort zone a little bit and we see how they react to it."
This might be because of Dawson's pregnancy, if she is indeed pregnant. And what will be Casey's reaction?
In addition, there will be new characters in the next season.
"We're excited about bringing in a new candidate to the firehouse, which we're going to cast and look for," Olmstead added.
"It's another opportunity to bring in new blood with the graduation of characters and the Mills character going off," he added. "It opens up a spot for a new character -- a new candidate -- and we're tossing around ideas right now about who that character will be."
Chicago Fire Season 4 will answer all the questions from the past season in November on NBC.
