"Big Brother" Season 17 will be returning this June 24 and the 14 new housemates to live in the "Big Brother" house have already been announced. These 14 people will be battling it out in order to win $500,000 and among the 14 houseguests, a transgender woman is included and it is the first time this happened in the CBS hit reality show.
"Big Brother" Season 17's premiere will be a two-night event at eight in the evening on ET. The cast will be entering the house for the first time on the 24th and the 25th, Extra reports. However, the regular show will start airing on July 2 and the following episodes will be airing every Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 P.M. from then on.
Host Julie Chen promised that there will be new things to expect this upcoming season of the show. This is the first time that the casts have been introduced before the show's premiere. "Big Brother" alum Jeff Schroeder will be introducing the fans on June 18 although their profiles have already been uploaded online, Hypable reports.
"Big Brother" basically selects a group of people to live inside a house where they are watched 24 hours a day and seven hours a week. The guests will be competing in different games to win a spot to be safe from eviction. The twists that Chen has promised to the "Big Brother" fans have not been revealed yet and will not be announced until the June 24 premiere.
Still on the "Big Brother" cast, it has been revealed that a transgender woman named Audrey Middleton has been part of the houseguests for the show and it was reported that she was inspired by Caitlyn Jenner, also known as Bruce Jenner.
Middleton is the first ever transgender to join the show. She is 25 years old and grew up in a small town in Georgia. She reportedly plans to use her time on "Big Brother" to be a role model for other transgender people out there, Hollywood Life reported.
Other members include a personal trainer, a retail manager, a server, a professional wrestler, dentist, marketing director, dentist, interior designer, a poker dealer and many more.
