'Metallica' Update: Band performs Metal National Anthem in NBA Finals; Lord of Summer Italy Tour all set as New Album is being recorded

Metallica is taking Italy by storm with their latest Lord of Summer Tour. The band currently has 10 dates booked in their calendar between now and mid-September this year to give way for the band's tour not just in Italy but as well as in Chicago.

Blabber Mouth website has reportedly confirmed that the band is working on their latest studio album which will follow up their 2008's album, Death Magnetic. The legendary metal band has spent a lot of time working in the studio for the past year to give way to the release of the New Metallica Album that will surely be a hit.

According to Metallica's official website, it was their 11th visit to Milan, Italy and been there for the first time on February 5, 1984. Indeed, time flies for the band then. It has been nearly 31 years since Metallica played the first time in Italy.

Rolling Stones reported the band's performance during the Game 5 of this year's NBA Finals on June 15, 2015 game between Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers; Metallica performed the National Anthem with their own metal style that set the arena into a different note - what a psychedelic.

The metal axemen performed their dual-guitar anthem before tip-off of the NBA final game five match. Also reported was the joint effort with ESPN and Circuit for the Americas to support and assist victims of recent flooding thus the band is donating all the proceeds to the Central Texas Red Cross.

Metallica, ever since then, was also known for supporting their local sports teams that for the past three years they were able to appear in various "Metallica Day" in San Francisco. Also, they have participated in various "Metallica Night" with hockey team in San Jose.

The band will be continuing with their Europe Tour, mainly concentrating in Milan, Italy up until September 2015.
