Fans have been anxiously waiting for "How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 as well as wondering how the sophomore season will play out. While almost every fan is bothered by the revelations during last season's finale, Viola Davis, the series' gem, wants the show to focus on the characters and their relationships on the show.
"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 will return in a few months to answer most of the questions left hanging by the firt season's ultimate episode. Christian Today noted that the second season will most likely spend most of its episode untangling the complicated death of Rebecca Sutter, played by Julie Gonzalo.
However, if it were up to Viola Davis, Annalise Keating in the series, the actress would like the show to take a closer look at the characters to make way for character improvement.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Viola Davis admits that she doesn't know anything concrete about the next season's plot. However, she is hoping that the writers will emphasize the relationships between the characters on the show.
"The Help" star is even in favor of the possibility that Frank, played by Charlie Weber, will turn out to be romantically attracted to her character.
"I love that idea, I never thought of that! That is very exciting," said Davis. "When you explore the kind of unusual relationship - like with Bonnie and Annalise - those create the best OMG moments, especially when you think that a relationship may be going in another direction."
ABC renewed the legal drama for season 2 after a successful first season run. Professor Annalise Keating and the rest of the cast will return this fall for the weekly dose of mystery, reports When Will.net
Viola Davis wants the characters and their relationships to be highlighted on "How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 when in returns. The actress was also vocal of her support if the writers decides to pair Annalise and Frank romantically.
