Divergent: Allegiance Part 1 is soon to hit cinemas next year, and the movie is currently underway. Actress Shailene Woodley expressed her excitement in playing the role of Tris once again, while Theo James revealed that the movie will not greatly differ from the book.
Part 1 of the final instalment of the Divergent franchise is currently being filmed, and actress Shailene Woodley expressed her excitement in filming the movie, and even said that she's honored to play the character of Tris. "I am excited, but my very first thought, if I'm being honest was, 'Okay. All right. That's another year of kicking ass. Another year devoted to this character.' But that's all right, because I am honored to be Tris, and it is exciting," Woodley said.
Meanwhile, Woodley's love interest in the franchise, Theo James, revealed that 'Allegiant' movie adaptation might not bear that much difference compared to what was written on the book.
"Not huge [changes], no. I think they were able to consolidate with the third movie and kind of consolidate all the key elements of the book. I think it's gonna be pretty similar," James said.
"I think the luxury of this one is that we have time to tell the book over two movies so I think, if anything, it'll be the material in the book, but then added as well. There will be more stuff because we have more time to tell the story." he added.
The fact that the movie 'Allegiant' might not be so different from the book, are now getting Divergent fans wondering if the ending will still bring them to tears as the book's ending was rather sad. There is only one way of knowing the answer though, and that is to watch the film itself.
Divergent: Allegiant part one is set to hit theaters in March 18, 2016.
