Bethesda Softworks, the developer of the games Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, The Evil Within, Wolfenstein, and the most popular game franchise, Fallout. On June 16, the first day of the Electronic Entertainment Expo which is also known as E3, Bethesda announced its release of 'Fallout Shelter,' another Fallout franchise. Unfortunately, it was only available for Apple users only.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held its annual trade fair, where all related to the video game industry can participate. It's just that unlike Gamescom, E3 is an exclusive, industry-only event. And on its 3-day fair, Bethesda Softworks was one of its participants to present their game announcements.
'Fallout Shelter' is an exclusive game but free to download app released for Apple iOS users. "Reminder: #FalloutShelter requires at least an iPhone 5, iPad 3, or iPad Mini 2," tweeted Bethesda. But wait, Android users should not worry, as Bethesda tweeted this: "Yes, we're also working on Fallout Shelter for Android. Hopefully out in a few months." Just not so sure about the exact date, but still.
'Fallout Shelter' is a strategy game, and upon its release it collected more profit than Candy Crush saga. According to App Annie via eurogamer.net, 'Fallout Shelter' is the third top-grossing iOS app in the UK and United States. This game is about a surviving wasteland with people in it. What you have to do is build a vault for your dwellers to stay in, and make them live in a happy community. Take note that your dwellers can reproduce! So it's kinda exciting.
Aside from Bethesda which also affirmed 'Hearthstone-style' card game and 'The Elder Scrolls Legends' that will soon be available on PC and iPad, EA also announced 'Minions Paradise' and 'Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes' which will be available on mobile devices, too. Square Enix also came in with their announcement of 'Lara Croft Go,' a mobile game based on Tomb Rider universe.
