Variety describes "Boulevard" as having the same loneliness of William's character that was felt by the viewers in his previous movies "One Hour Photo" and "Good Will Hunting".

Aside from "Boulevard, one of the actor's latest movies is "Absolutely Anything" in which he voiced one character. CBC says that "Absolutely Anything" is a British sci-fi comedy to be released in the United Kingdom this August and in North America in 2016.
