B.A.P Divulges Controversial SNS Updates; Disses TS Entertainment About their On-going Lawsuit?

By

Recent SNS updates of B.A.P members stirred a fuss in the industry as the posts were speculated to be related to the alleged trial set on June 11th as the members met with their former agency for their on-going contract dispute.

B.A.P members Zelo and Daehyun prompted speculations of the alleged court trial postponement against their former agency TS Entertainment with their recent SNS updates.

It started on June 12th when the youngest member Zelo posted a vague tweet not directly addressed to anybody, which was now deleted, saying, "Couldn't submit. Why can't these adults be confident. Pushed it back again, really too hard."

The tweet was then followed with Daehyun posting a throwback photo of B.A.P with a caption saying, "We are one."

It is also worth noting that Zelo's post is closely resembling the sentiments of B.A.P's leader Yongguk in his consecutive twitter updates that was released on June 9th saying, "Trying to understand the adults who teach cowardly morals, I would try to rationalize that society is such a place, but let's respect the weight of life that had been protected by those people as they endured and overcame."

This was followed by, "However, let's not imitate them; the loftiness that the adults have protected might have been a state of mind for the boast-worthy sons and daughters of mine, I a person who talk more of a strong and sturdy righteousness,"

His last tweet bears, "Now let's become people who can talk to adults about not cowardly ethics but true ethics."

Although there were no names mentioned, the fans speculated that the tweets were for the group's former company which left them in worry with the ongoing court trials for the group's contract termination.

B.A.P is a six-member hiphop group formed in 2011 under the management of TS Entertainment. They debuted on 26th of January 2012 with their promotional single "Warrior" which was a song that talks about the injustice of the current society and how the protagonist desires to end it.

The versatile group has meaningful songs, synchronized group dance, strong charisma, and powerful vocals and rap. They captured the interests of fans with their distinct stage performance, proving what sets the group apart from the typical K-pop groups.

It was on November of last year when B.A.P filed a request to nullify their contract with TS Entertainment citing slave contract and unfair income distribution that has greatly shocked and disappointed the fans with the company's treatment with its artists.

With the revelations, the fans expressed their support for the group, leaving encouraging messages. K-Pop fans united on social media and trended #JusticeforBAP and #ForeverwithBAP on Twitter voicing out the injustices done by the management to the members of B.A.P.
