Arrow Season 4 Spoilers, Updates: Will Oliver Queen Return to Save Thea? Stephen Amell hinted details for the upcoming season

By

Last season, Arrow fans everywhere are left wondering whether it's the end of Oliver Queen's crime fighting days as the hooded hero or if he will ever return to Starling City. Oliver is seen driving off into the sunset to pursue happiness and a quiet life with Felicity, leaving the safety of the city in the very capable hands of his friends and collegues.

However, according to Entertainment Weekly, lead star Stephen Amell hinted for a possible return during a Twitter Q&A. The star posted on Twitter last June 18 a vague "What's wrong Speedy?" tweet when asked to describe the Arrow Season 4 premiere.

The website Comicbook confirmed that five to six months may have already passed once Arrow starts its fourth season this fall. Amell also stated during a Facebook Q&A that while reading the script for Arrow Season 4, there were moments when his jaw dropped - twice. Although he did not specify the details about these moments, he said that he emailed Marc Guggenheim, the series' showrunner, three or four straight questions, which Guggenheim modestly answered.

Viewers are now speculating for the possible causes that will trigger Oliver's return and it circulates mostly on Oliver's sister, Thea, played by actress Willa Honda. Could a life-and-death situation be the cause or does it have something to do with her father, Malcolm Merlyn? International Business Times also writes that Felicity, played by Emily Bett Rickards, can be a cause as the entire Palmer Industries is now hers.

There are a lot of interpretations being formed today but it's too early to say. One thing is for sure though, Arrow Season 4 filming will get intense in the following days to provide fans all over the world an action-filled and intriguing season premier this fall on CW.
