HTC has released a new software update for the HTC One M9 to address camera issues of the company's new flagship phone promising some improvements on image sharpening, noise reduction and longer battery life.
Next to the HTC One M9 trade launch, HTC has dispatched a software update which they assert to develop its camera's performance. The company's software team had made some twist in the default camera settings to sharpen the image more, to enhance the color precision and to reduce the noise in the new update, according to a review from HTC Source.
HTC's venture in its camera isn't the most powerful in One M9, but HTC expects that the update will make it better. European versions of the HTC One M9 obtain a pretty significant update this June which perked up lots of facets of the phone, mainly its camera. The resolution highlights superior automatic exposure to maintain images in vivid setting from getting washed out, whereas also convalescing low light photographs by decreasing noise and blur.
To see how its modification can truly expand the phone in a single update, Android Central has compared an updated One M9 with the one that has yet to be updated. Here is what you may distinguish on your M9 once it get the update.
All in all, the latest and previous firmware created comparable pictures in auto mode. Observing between pictures, the updated one seems to be more precise with white balance mirroring the actual shot, and the pictures seemed a little sharper if zoomed in. Even more, radical instances before where some green or yellow shades shows of on images in bleak environment have also hypothetically been dealt with.
As noted in Phone Arena, when it comes to the battery life, "It has reduced the power consumption for certain popular apps (YouTube and Facebook)." Though in a not so ideal light, the M9 is still striving hard even under the updated firmware, but still it has been better. Shooting in auto mode with little light existing, a shaded room or evening outdoor locations, for instance, produced a good effect on the whole with the new firmware.
It's promising to see HTC releasing evocative camera updates to M9 after it went on sale, and this is surely a revamp every consumer must favourably catch.
