Bethesda Softworks is scheduled to ship their first installment to the second series of compendium tomes in partnership with Titan Books this week Tuesday on June 23. The hardbound compendium The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Skyrim Library Volume 1: The Histories is the first of a three-part book series that feature the culture, the creatures, magic and myths of the open world of Tamriel.
Earlier this year, Bethesda Softworks in partnership with Titan Books released The Elder Scrolls Online: Tales of Tamriel, Volume I - The Land featuring in-game text and original artwork that explores the vast histories of the war between the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and the Ebonheart Pact, including the monumental invasion of Daedra Lord Prince Molag Bal from the planes of Oblivion. The first volume of the Elder Scrolls Library which chronicles the histories of the continent of Tamriel is now available on the Bethesda store for only $28 from its initial $35 price.
Bethesda continues the story of Tamriel in the Elder Scrolls Library through the rich collection of history of the Old Kingdom, Skyrim. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Skyrim Library Volume I: The Histories is the first of a three-volume series that delves deeper into the Nordic histories of the region of the Old Kingdom. The critically acclaimed vastness of The Elder Scrolls is a series that is cemented and founded on the strength of its lore and histories, and Bethesda's 232-page, hardbound compendium chronicles the realm of Skyrim that features in-game text coupled with richly detailed official artwork. The Skyrim Library, Volume 1: The Histories is available for $35 on the Bethesda Store. The 10" x 7 ¾" tome starts shipping Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Bethesda and Titan Books will continue to build the Elder Scrolls Library with more compendiums of similar form scheduled to ship later this year. Volume II: The Lore will complete Tales of Tamriel while The Skyrim Library will have two more volumes to its name: Volume II: Man, Mer and Beast, and Volume III: The Arcane.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Skyrim Library Volume I: The Histories is available for pre-order through the Bethesda Store, and is scheduled to start shipping on Tuesday, June 23.
